Our Graduation was held on Saturday, 3rd June at Mashiara Park, Nairobi.

Graduating students were awarded the diploma and certificates at a colorful event. Prof. Bitange Ndemo, the former Permanent Secretary of Kenya’s Ministry of Information and Communication and a director at Safaricom, graced the event as our Convocation Speaker.

Here’s a sneak peek into the day.

“We as parents must know when to let go and leave the young ones to decide their destiny. Their passion will help them succeed”, said Prof. Ndemo. He asked the graduates to embrace humble beginnings at work and be driven by passion to succeed in their respective fields. He added that high unemployment is due not to a lack to job opportunities, but of skills.  He also applauded ADMI for filling a gap in higher education by providing skills relevant for current jobs.

'We are proud of revolutionizing the Africa media industry by producing well-equipped and deserving graduates. ADMI supports ambition and we tell our alumni to take every opportunity that comes with the seriousness it deserves'

Advisor – Juliani

“The creative industry is the future. All other sectors will be automated thanks to artificial intelligence machinery. The only thing they’ll be limited to automating is our world of creatives. You are validating the future.”

“On behalf of the Board of Directors at ADMI, we wish you the very best. We are confident in the training you have gone through. It has fortified the calling you already have. We shall hear great things about our graduates.”

Champion - Laila Macharia

“In this new world, the most creative mind wins the prize, not the strongest arm or the biggest farm. Intellectual property is more valuable than gold and silver.

This new world will only ask you: help us find our way, sing us a song, paint us a picture, tell us a story. Make us laugh or cry.”

ADMI is so unique. On our graduation celebration, our MC and event planner are our faculty, our talented students are the entertainment, the camera crew and the sound engineers. We are special.

We thank the parents and guardians so much for listening to your children and helping them cultivate the skills they needed. Thank you for believing in them. Congratulations to our graduates.

2017 Valedictorian - Ms. Annette Shadeya

“Our lives just changed.

Gone is the protective cover of a student. We are now contributing members of society. People have expectations. Our thoughts and actions will be analyzed and criticized in that respect. As artists, ours is a rare and often misunderstood path. There will be difficulties. This is our tie to decide. We need to chart an excellent future for ourselves and those following. Refuse to settle for less than you are worth. Let’s be the best in our respective fields.”

As Bradley Withford said -"Take action. Every story you've ever connected with, every leader you've ever admired, every puny little thing that you've ever accomplished is the result of taking action. You have a choice. You can either be a passive victim of circumstance or you can be the active hero of your own life".

We wish our new class of alumni all the very best as they start this new chapter.

Would you like to be part of this great community?
